OUR BELIEFS

  1. We believe in the HOLY BIBLE as the inspired WORD of GOD, the all sufficient Authority in matters of faith, doctrine and Christian living.
  2. We believe in one GOD, eternally existing in three Persons: the FATHER, the SON and HOLY SPIRIT.
  3. We believe in the Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ and that He is true God and Man. That He died on the Cross for our sins, rose the third day boldly from the dead and ascended into heaven where He sits at the right hand of the Father and is now our High Priest and Advocate.
  4. We believe in the power of the Blood of Jesus Christ for remission of sins, sanctification of the soul and for healing, deliverance and salvation.
  5. We believe that man was created in the Image of God but fell into sin and therefore lost His glory; and that, only through regeneration by the work of the Holy Spirit can man’s salvation and spiritual life be obtained.
  6. We believe that eternal salvation is the free gift of God, entirely apart from man’s work and is possessed by any and all who have faith in and received Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Saviour.
  7. We believe in Baptism by total immersion into water and in the Lord’s Super as a memorial of His suffering and death on the cross.
  8. We believe in the personal, bodily, imminent and glorious return of the Lord Jesus Christ and that His second coming inspires believers for dynamic and zealous life as well as service for Him while waiting for His return.
  9. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, the everlasting blessedness of the saved in heaven as well as the everlasting punishment and separation from God of the unsaved in hell.
  10. We believe in the efficacy of prayers and fasting to solve all problems.

GOD’S ORDINANCES FOR THE CHURCH

The followings are the divine ordinances made by God through General Apostle/Prophet J.T. Durojaiye for the edification of the church.

  1. Hourly prayers at day break, 7.00am to 8.00am in the morning, 9am, 12 noon and 3pm and evening revival worship.
  2. Vigil prayers at 9am, 12mid night and 3am.
  3. Wednesday morning prayers (between 9am and 5pm). This prayer is for women only, particularly the pregnant, child rearing ones and those looking up to God for children. There is a history behind the creation of this particular wednsday prayer. I dreamt one day and the late Apostle Ayo Babalola appeared to me, he said the mission I was embarking upon was God-ordained. He said as he did the same work and rested in the Lord Jesus, so also I too will do the same and rest with Jesus. In the same dream, the late Apostle told me that God asked him to tell me that I should create the Wednesday morning prayer meeting for those seeking for the fruit of the womb, where they could pray, and sing joyfully to their Lord. God said He would use the exercise to hearken to request of His name. It is worthy of note that following the creation of the prayer programme, God fulfilled His promises by giving the fruit of the womb to countless number of people.
  4. The word of God concerning gold. God told me that He wanted His female children to separate themselves from the world, and remain just as He created them; emphasizing that He (God) did not call them unto Himself for money, child, house or anything, but because of His kingdom. He then gave specific words concerning gold and its usage by His children. He said, Gold is an idol. It is a spend drift. It is a tool of fornication and adultery, and causes one’s children to die continuously. It causes barrenness and also causes satanic forces to mark one down for attack with the purpose of destroying the life and work of people. Moreover, usage of gold in form of jewelries can cause one to lose the kingdom of God”. Following the delivery of these words of God to the congregation, on March 5, 1962, the women rushed jewelries worth thousands of pounds were abandoned in the church that day. First among who took this step was Mrs Oloyede with a lot of other people emulated. This miracle continues to be recorded in the church even up to today.
  5. One other major spiritual creation for the church was the quarterly prayer meeting. This was to be a three-day prayer with fasting. God’s explanation for directing this was that His people are suffering from satanic forces of darkness; and therefore a quarterly prayer should be organized to wipe off such satanic forces from the lives of the people.
  6. Bible back-up Read Job 22:23-26, “Yes you must humbly return to God and put an end to all the evil that is done in your house. Throw away your gold, dump your finest gold in the dry stream bed. Let Almighty God be your gold, and let Him be silver, piled high for you… Then you will always trust in God and find that He is the source of your joy.” Good News!
